With 35 years of business experience across multiple countries and continents, Frank brings a passion for teamwork, success and a love for the outdoors to his work. A keen skier, hiker, tennis player and cyclist Frank recognizes the threat that a changing climate brings to the pursuits that make life so good. Through his investments and work he seeks to play his part in protecting what we were given for his own family and yours. Frank has built up solar development companies in the UK and the US which were successfully sold. He now focuses his time and energy on what he can do to help protect against catastrophic climate change. He sees the opportunity to help nations source a large portion of their energy from local sunshine as the biggest impact he can offer in this endeavor. As a believer that alone you can go fast, but together you can go far, Frank works with specialist investors who believe that energy independence is a keystone to the development of a stronger, cleaner world.
For over 30 years, R.T. has transformed his engineering background and seasoned business acumen into value creation in the software, semiconductor, and power industries. During the last 15 years,his expertise has focused on over 2 GW’s of data center and clean energy infrastructure deployment across the globe and through the entire project life cycle from initial development investment to operations. Clean energy project development takes avillage to bring together. Having performed as a drummer and percussionist in symphonies, jazz bands, pitorchestras and rock bands for decades, R.T. enjoys working together collaboratively to create something special. He channels this collaborative effort on stage into his passion for renewable energy by being an intent listener, impactful team player, and confident leader to make clean energy a reality.
Elvis is an emerging visionary entrepreneur in Botswana’s renewable energy and sustain ability sector, driven by a commitment to advancing Africa’s clean energy transition. He began his career as a Principal Researcher for Amaranthius Holdings Consortium, contributing to a response submission to the Expression of Interest by Botswana in 2014, where he developed a strong foundation in energy research, project evaluation, and data-driven decision-making. Agraduate of the Botswana Stock Exchange’s Tshipidi Mentorship Program in 2025 and theInstitute for Entrepreneurial Development’s Entrepreneurship Pathway in 2022,Elvis combines strategic insight with a passion for renewable energy innovation and local empowerment. His work focuses on developing frameworks that promote energy independence, strengthen local participation capacity, and align with Botswana’s long-term sustainability goals. Elvis is passionate about building partnerships that enable equitable access to energy and sustainable economic growth across Africa.
Walter is an accomplished Mechanical Engineer with a BEng (Hons) from the Polytechnicof Wales, UK, and an MSc in Technology and Innovation Management from theUniversity of Sussex, UK. His extensive career spans energy and renewable energy, technology and innovation, and enterprise facilitation. A significant focus of his professional life has been on renewable energy, clean technologies, and research and development for social and rural development. He is currently the Chairman of Kganyo Solar Farm, a company developing utility-scale solar projects in Botswana,targeting 1000MW to support the government's diversification and clean energy goals. He also serves as a Consulting Engineer at Raven Brook Resources (RBR),specializing in mechanical engineering, solar systems design, feasibility studies, and project management. His deep involvement in the energy sectorbegan with coal-fired power stations, including a role as MechanicalMaintenance Engineer and Head of the Mechanical Maintenance Department at Morupule-A Power Station in 1990. He then transitioned into renewables, with experience designing and installing up to 2000 kWp of agricultural and commercial and industrial (C&I) projects over the last 10 years.
Thebe is a seasoned administrator and relationship leader whose work bridges human development and sustainable enterprise. With a career spanning education, leadership, and stakeholder engagement, he champions a people-centered approach to organizational culture and community empowerment — principles that drive Botswana’s transition to a cleaner and more inclusive energy future. His tenure as the Regional Administration Officer for the Botswana Teachers Union (BTU) in Selebi Phikwe has strengthened his expertise in governance, industrial relations, conflict resolution, and ethical leadership — values that now inform his approach to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) stewardship. As a regional chairman of Schools Sports at district level, he managed programs that built teamwork, leadership, and community cohesion among schools — skills he now applies to nurturing a resilient and motivated workforce. He leads initiatives that align corporate values with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. He advocates for equitable employment practices, employee well-being, and community engagement as essential pillars of the company’s ESG strategy. Driven by the belief that sustainability begins with people, Thebe is committed to fostering a culture of integrity, inclusivity, and innovation — ensuring that the company’s impact extends beyond energy generation to social progress and ethical governance across Botswana’s evolving green economy.
Beats has secured financing for project development and construction in Botswana and the SADC region, these include even those developed to RTD stage. Beats has identified five areas in Botswana suitable for solar PV with storage project siting and development as; Chobe, Central, Gantsi, Kgalagadi and Southeast districts. Feasibility studies are ongoing.Beats has also identified possible projects related to developing new transmission lines and strengthening the existing high voltage network in Botswana to absorb new generation facilities coming online for local market and export. Financing options for these infrastructure investments include options such as PPP’s, BOOT, or other mutually agreeable structures.
